Keeping Your Auto Maintained

Auto maintenance is extremely important.  Not only do you want to keep your auto safe for you and your passengers but you also want to make sure that your auto is reliable and gets good gas mileage.  Here are a few tips on keeping your auto well maintained.

Many people usually overlook their autos maintenance and expect that their auto will always be in perfect running condition.  That is not always the case.  It is very important to do a few things each year to get your auto maintained.

Check your safety equipment regularly.  Make sure that your air bag, anti lock brakes, seat belts, mirrors and lights are all working and in good condition.  Many times we won’t notice that a stop light is out until we are pulled over by a police officer.

Give your auto an oil change ever three months.  Not only will this extend the life of the engine, but most of the time the technician will check other parts of the auto to make sure that your auto is running optimally.

Keep your tires inflated at the proper pressure.  Tire pressure can have an effect on your gas mileage as well as steering ability.  Make sure your tire pressure is correct.  So follow these tips and keep your auto well maintained.
